Crash on Canterbury temporarily blocks lane

A car crash at 712 Canterbury Road S. in Shakopee temporarily blocked one lane of traffic Friday afternoon.
Shakopee police, firemen and paramedics were called to the scene around 2 p.m. Officials said there were some minor injuries and one woman was taken to the hospital in a neck brace.
The woman was responsive to the paramedics.
Children were in the car, but they were unharmed.
A white four-door rear-ended a silver Toyota. The bumper on the Toyota was completely off. Both cars were towed away.
Traffic was opened up in both lanes by 2:30 p.m.
