Vehicle hits power line, rolls into ditch in Credit River Township

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Wednesday afternoon crash that involved a vehicle leaving the road, hitting a power line and rolling over into the ditch.

The crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. near Texas Avenue and Broadview Drive in Credit River Township.

The driver was a female from Elko New Market. According to the sheriff’s office, she was wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries. Investigators do not yet know why the vehicle left the road.

No other cars were involved.
