Lindsay Menz is making national headlines this week after tweeting about an alleged interaction between her and Al Franken, a high profile Democrat senator from Minnesota.

Menz, who is a 2002 Prior Lake High School graduate according to her LinkedIn profile, tweeted Nov. 16 that Franken grabbed her while taking a photo at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010.

Franken was elected to the Senate in 2008.

"I felt violated and embarrassed," Menz said in the tweet.

The allegation comes on the heels of another accusation lodged against Franken by Los Angeles broadcaster Leeann Tweeden.

Tweeden said Franken kissed and groped her in 2006 without her consent during a trip the two took to entertain troops in the Middle East.

The kiss was during a rehearsal of a skit while the groping took place after she fell asleep on a plane, Tweeden said.

Franken apologized to Tweeden over Twitter and issued a statement to CNN, saying he didn't remember taking the photo with Menz and he felt "badly" that she felt disrespected.
