Prior Lake Farmer's Market opens for the season

Though ominous clouds loomed in the distance, the rain held off until after the Prior Lake Farmers Market launched its first gathering of the season.

The market kicked off Saturday, May 5 and will run every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon until mid-October, weather depending. It’s the market’s 16th year of operation.

Vendors’ products include meat, soaps, root beer, jams, jewelry, bread, produce, flowers, honey, succulents, maple syrup, Mexican cuisine, jerky, fruit, horseradish, dog treats, chocolate and more.

The market is located on Main Avenue in downtown Prior Lake from Edelweiss Bakery to D. Copperfield Jeweler Inc.
