Meet the men vying for the heart of Prior Lake's Becca Kufrin

With every hour that passes, we inch closer to the return of Prior Lake's Becca Kufrin to our television screen.

Kufrin will debut as the titular "The Bachelorette" during a two-hour premiere on May 28.

But she's only half of the equation.

Like previous "Bachelorette" seasons, a cast of men will compete for the heart of and engagement to Kufrin. Specifically, 28 men.

Fans of the show met a few of the men when Kufrin was announced as the Bachelorette earlier this year, but ABC recently released a full cast list. Meet the men that will grace the national television screen come May 28, with information from their bios on the ABC website:

Alex

Alex is a 31-year-old construction manager from Atlanta, Georgia. Alex loves country music and the outdoors — he said he enjoys going to the beach or skiing. However, the most important fact about Alex is that he has a dog named Donzi.

Blake

Blake is a 28-year-old sales representative from Bailey, Colorado, where he was born and raised. He plays football and basketball on top of being a swing dancer. He's looking for "his equal match" and believes partners in a relationship need to be independent in order to love each other, according to his bio.

Chase

Chase is a 27-year-old advertising vice president from Sanford, Florida. He's competed in the College World Series for baseball twice when he was a player on the University of South Carolina's team. He said he loves adventures and the outdoors.

Chris

Chris is a 30-year-old sales trainer from Orlando, Florida, though he's originally from New York. He went to the University of Central Florida, where he studied health service administration. He is very into health and fitness and would like to retire in his 40s. Wouldn't we all.

Christian

Christian is a 28-year-old banker from San Diego, California. He is originally from Mexico and moved to the United States when he was three. He played semi-professional soccer until he retired due to an injury. His biggest date fear is spilling something on himself and not a rabid bear tearing through the restaurant where him and a date would be having dinner — interesting.

Christon

Christon is a 31-year-old former Harlem Globetrotter from Los Angeles and definitely has the most interesting job so far. Apparently, Christon emailed the Globetrotters after becoming bored with his corporate job in Detroit to see if they were looking for new members. Turns out they were, and he joined the team. He's now a professional dunker, whatever that means.

Clay

Clay is a 30-year-old professional football player from Chicago, Illinois. He's more likely to be ready to "do the darn thing" instead of Kufrin's "do the damn thing" as he does not curse. He likes hip-hop and country music and considers himself a mix of city and country boy.

Colton

Colton is a 26-year-old former professional football player from Denver, Colorado. Kufrin must have a type. He was named after the Indianapolis Colts and played professionally for three teams before he retired due to an injury. He now works to help children with Cystic Fibrosis. Most importantly, he has a dog named Sniper.

Connor

Connor is a 25-year-old fitness coach from St. Petersburg, Florida. He played professional baseball for the Atlanta Braves after graduating from the University of Tampa. He is now a health and wellness coach. He is a risk-taker, but as long as it doesn't affect his health and fitness.

Darius

Darius is a 26-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from Sherman Oaks, California, though he's originally from Milwaukee. He has been to 11 countries in the past few years and said his most important mission in life is to give back to others. He also loves to dance.

David

David is a 25-year-old venture capitalist from Denver, Colorado. He enjoys fitness, golfing and skiing. His family also has a beach house. He enjoys guacamole but hates avocado, which is what guacamole mostly consists of. Because that makes sense.

Garrett

Garrett is a 29-year-old medical sales representative from Reno, Nevada. He was raised in California and loves fly fishing, hiking and snowshoeing — there's plenty of snowshoeing in California and Nevada. He is working on perfecting a Chris Farley impression, because it's the 1990s.

Grant

Grant is a 27-year-old electrician from Danville, California. He's a fourth-generation electrician who is, apparently, very sarcastic. And that's all the information we get about Grant.

Jake

Jake is 29-year-old marketing consultant from... wait a second, he's from Minneapolis! A hometown boy, just like Kufrin. He's a bit of an adrenaline-junkie and enjoys dirt bikes, motor cross and bungee jumping. He also writes poems and loves to dance.

Jason

Jason is a 29-year-old senior corporate banker from Seattle, Washington. He's a fan of the Buffalo Bills and Disney movies. He's hoping to sing to Kufrin at one point so here's hoping there is not being enough screen time for that.

Jean Blanc

Jean Blanc is a 31-year-old colognoisseur from Pensacola, Florida. A lot of French happening here. He was born in Haiti and immigrated to Boston when he was two years old. He studied at Duke and has a masters in business administration. He works in finance and has a "very impressive cologne collection."

Joe

Joe is a 31-year-old grocery store owner from Chicago, Illinois. He was one of the youngest traders on the Chicago stock exchange before deciding to follow his family in owning a small business.

John

John is a 28-year-old software engineer from San Francisco, California. He owns a start-up company in Silicon Valley. He also makes a "world-famous" banana bread and likes to taste wine in his free time. Don't we all.

Jordan

Jordan is a 26-year-old male model from Crystal River, Florida. He used to work in business and accounting but decided he was too good looking to hide it from the world. He enjoys kayaking and running and has a mile time of 4.24.

Kamil

Kamil is a 30-year-old social media participant from Monroe, New York, because that's a real job. He moved to the United States from Poland when he was five years old and learned English by watching cartoons. His actual jobs are real estate and modeling, but he is terrified of spiders.

Leo

Leo is a 31-year-old stuntman from Studio City, California, which puts him in close contention for coolest job. He has been a stuntman for television, movies and stage shows as well as working for his family's construction business. He was long, wavy locks that he's been growing for 10 years and likes a good hipster bun.

Lincoln

Lincoln is a 26-year-old account sales executive from Los Angeles, California. He is originally from Nigeria and moved to Boston when he was a teenager. He would love to have a big family and is named after the one-and-only Abraham Lincoln.

Mike

Mike is a 27-year-old sports analyst from Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Notre Dame, where he studied accounting and computer applications. He loves festivals, horse races and state fairs — all of which can be found in Minnesota. Most importantly, he has a bulldog named Riggins.

Nick

Nick is a 27-year-old attorney from Orlando, Florida. He has a "signature tracksuit," apparently. On the weekends, he likes brunches, BBQs, the beach and other alliterative activities.

Rickey

Rickey is a 27-year-old IT consultant from San Diego, California. He created a personal training company after studying at JMU and working on Wall Street. He wants a woman to be "his best friend first, and lover second."

Ryan

Ryan is a 27-year-old banjoist from Manhattan Beach, California, though he's originally from Cape Cod. Him and his family have a bluegrass band and he can play the banjo, ukulele, guitar and trombone. He also likes to sail, which would come in handy for those Minnesota lakes.

Trent

Trent is a 28-year-old realtor from Naples, Florida, though he's originally from Iowa. He moved to Florida to pursue careers as a realtor and as a model — he's been featured in catalogs and on the cover of romance novels.

Wills

Last but not least, Wills is a 29-year-old graphic designer from Los Angeles, California, where he was born and raised. He went to the University of California - Davis, where he majored in design. He is a big Harry Potter fan, as everyone should be.

For an interesting fact, the average age of the 28 men we'll see on television May 28 is just over 28 years old. Nearly 36 percent of the contestants live in California.

Because filming has already finished, Kufrin has already chosen one of these men to be her fiancé, barring anything strange (thinking of you, previous bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr.). According to show host Chris Harrison, the five contestants to watch are Jordan, Clay, Garrett, Colton and Lincoln.
